In MFL students study either French or Spanish. We teach students about the cultural aspects and benefits of learning a language as well as the grammatical terms. The skills we develop are transferrable to all subjects in the curriculum such as problem solving, spotting patterns, developing confidence and boosting your memory. Students learn how to converse with native speakers as well as developing the key skills of listening, reading and writing. Students are taught grammar implicitly within a range of topics listed below and are taught how to apply these at GCSE.
