We’re proud to offer Maths Circles as part of our Enrichment Programme at The Ruth Gorse Academy.
Axiom Maths Circles are small weekly groups where pupils explore a structured curriculum of challenging maths problems that go beyond the National Curriculum. These circles focus not only on advanced mathematical thinking but also on building a supportive community. Pupils learn to embrace struggle, experiencing the satisfaction of overcoming difficult problems, and often find themselves in a state of flow, free from the pressure of tests. Most importantly, they become part of a group that genuinely values and celebrates mathematical curiosity and talent.
Students are currently able to participate in Year 7 and in Year 8. Please note this opportunity is only open to eligible students, as the content can be very challenging!
