Parent Consultation Evenings
The Academy will use School Cloud as the platform for parents/carers to books their parent consultation evening appointments. A link to School Cloud will be sent out to parents and carers in advance of each evening.

Exciting news! We have a new user-friendly TRGA app
As you will be aware, we are always looking for more effective ways to keep our parents and carers informed and engaged in their child’s learning journey. With new technology constantly evolving, it’s important that we provide you with the most effective, yet simple to use tools available.
We’re excited to announce that we have now invested in Weduc, a new digital communication and engagement tool that has been designed specifically to improve the way that parents and school staff communicate.
The app will allow us to send messages directly to specific parents and carers for different year groups and will be used as our primary means of communication.
We will be rolling our app out to our parents and carers through a phased approach throughout the year. This will allow us to support all parents and carers with accessing and using the app effectively. At parent and carer consultation evenings we will provide personalised support for each year group in accessing the app and understanding its functions.
When you receive your email, you will need to follow the steps outlined below in order to access all the functions.
Instructions for Android / iPhone devices:
- Step 1: Download the Ruth Gorse Academy app onto your phone/tablet via your relevant App store.
- Step 2: Once downloaded, open the app and click the “Enrol” link at the bottom of the login screen.
- Step 3: Enter your unique enrolment code, sent to you via email by the academy and follow the in-app, step by step instructions to complete your registration.
- Additionally, if you don’t have access to a smart phone you can register via a web browser via the 5 step process outlined below.
Instructions for Web Browser:
- Step 1: On an internet enabled device visit https://app.weduc.co.uk/main/index/index and click on ‘enrol’ in the web browser.
- Step 2: Enter the unique enrolment code sent to you via email by the academy.
- Step 3: Enter your email address and mobile phone number, then click “Confirm”.
- Step 4: On completion of step 3 an activation email will be sent to your registered email address. Follow the instructions within this email to activate your account and set your password.
- Step 5: Log on to Ruth Gorse Academy app using your newly created login details.
